Shaun Collins Golf Coaching

Hello and thank you for visiting the Shaun Collins Golf Coaching website, Shaun is the Head Golf Professional at Welwyn Garden City Golf Club in Hertfordshire.

Shaun has worked in golf for 18 years and been a PGA Professional for 12 of those, his recent journey includes previous positions as Senior Professional at The Grove, Hadley Wood and prior to that Golf Operations Manager and Senior Professional at Centurion Club.

Every person can play better golf and Shaun makes sure of this by giving clear changes and structure for improvement making sure every golfer is better than when they arrived and thus having more fun in doing so.

Shaun has achieved success with golfers of all abilities, gender and ages having worked with complete beginners to county golfers.

Qualifications / Achievements

Shaun is Level 2 certified in both Golf Coaching and Trackman. Along with qualifications in Golf Psychology, SeeMore Putting and True Temper fitting he prides himself on making sure all clients leave with an agreed vision, set drills for practice and a better understanding of their swing.

Previously winner of the East Region Trainees Championship and Course Record Holder at The Hertfordshire G&CC shooting 63 (-7)

In a previous life Shaun was a talented athlete representing his country for Cross Country at a Senior Level. Still intent on keeping fit he passes on experiences when needed to his students to help reach their individual goals.
